Synvisc-One can be safely repeated.* If you’ve had Synvisc-One treatment, you may already know how enjoyable it is to get back to your favorite activities. Synvisc-One users experience up to six-months of pain relief. Gradually, however, your osteoarthritis (OA) symptoms may return.
How do you know when it might be time for another treatment?
- Keep track of your symptoms. If your knee pain starts to return, ask your doctor whether another Synvisc-One treatment is right for you.
- Also, pay attention to your other knee. OA often starts in one knee, but you may become aware of symptoms in your other knee. You can get Synvisc-One treatment in one or both knees at the same time.
